2019 - 2022

The organization "Granitos de Paz" counteracts the precarious situation of many families in the outskirts of Cartagena and offers them new perspectives through the cultivation of marketable products for the tourist gastronomy. The family-oriented project also supports children and young people and offers them opportunities for positive and self-confident personal development through the "Talentos de Paz" sports project.

2016 - 2019

Strengthening the self-sufficiency of the local population by securing and sustainably using the natural resources of the mangrove areas of the Gulf of Fonseca.

2015 - 2021

Gespa e. V. launched a nationwide film project in June 2015. A total of 30 productions on the topic of biodiversity are being produced with youth groups in national parks, nature reserves or large-scale project areas. Further information at: www.green-cut.de

2015 - 2016

This project supported the reconstruction of local infrastructure in Nepal in the aftermath of the earthquake.

2006 - 2008

"The Forest Within Us" was an environmental communication project financially supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (program "Citizens Initiate Sustainability") and the Lower Saxony Lottery Foundation. The results of the project "The Forest Within Us" are two regional networks in which cross-generational work was done on the topic, as well as the publication of a book (oekom-Verlag Munich) and the creation of various film contributions and spots.

2002 - 2005

In cooperation with local partners, Gespa e.V. produced a total of six films in Chile on the topics of environmental protection, poverty reduction and school education. The most important cooperation partners were the Chilean forestry authority CONAF, the Civil Peace Service in Cañete and the municipality of Parral.
